Punch (May 31, 1856). On the left we have an evangelical with a tract in his pocket, and on the right a red-nosed puritan with a liquor bottle in his while a representative of the Church of England (many of the clergy attended Oxford and Cambridge) beatins on what looks like a beer barrel.
