Holy Trinity, Llandudno, N. Wales, by the firm of A. L. Moore. This shows Jesus being baptised by John the Baptist on the left, and Jesus blessing the little children on the right. Above are the Holy Ghost in the form of a dove, and two angels bearing scrolls, each giving chapter and verse of the relevant passage in St. Matthew. The window is an exceptionally pretty one, and very suitable for the context: it harmonises so well with the font, with its decorative lid, which stands in front of it.
inLeft: A.L. Moore's signature and address. Right: The window in its setting.
The window is inscribed, "The gift of the Sunday School Children 1887," and is signed by Moore in the lower right-hand corner, next to the inscription. Moore also gives the address of his workshop in Bloomsbury. It seems fortunate indeed that this window has now been joined by part of another very attractive one designed by the same firm, brought from another church and installed as the west window in 2012 (the remaining part of what was originally a very large window is expected to be installed elsewhere in the church, so that eventually there will be three windows here with stained glass by A. L. Moore).
