The two uppermost angels of twelve in the middle circle of the west window in St John the Baptist, Holland Road, Kensington. Percy Bacon Brothers, 1910. The Latin words above these angels are "Descendit de Caelis" ("Descended from Heaven"), and they come from the part of the Nicene Creed shown here, reading in all: "Qui propter nos homines et propter nostram salutem descendit de caelis. Et incarnatus est de Spiritu Sancto ex Maria Virgine, et homo factus est," ending with "Halleluia" precisely below the figure of Jesus.
