Reredos at York Minster by George Tinworth for Doulton, in the chapel at the end of the north choir aisle; the subject is The First Hour of the Crucifixion (Pearson 374).

Reredos and Altar

The grey terracotta is painted and gilded to resemble wood carving, and was set in a wooden frame designed previously, in 1875, by G. E. Street in 1875. The terracotta itself was later, and dates from 1879 (Pevsner and Neave 144).
