A version of the meeting between the Princess and the Frog Prince, taken from the story by the Brothers Grimm. Brewtnall’s palette is characteristically in a high register, with a delicate treatment of light; the Princess’s gesture of repulsion and look of surprise add a touch of whimsical drama to a bizarre and amusing scene.
