This is the east window of Holy Trinity, Northwood, by James Powell & Sons. It was installed in 1936 (see Eberhard), to replace the original one when the window was raised in height. It depicts the crucifixion and Christ in Majesty in the central panel, and major figures from the Bible and the church in the other two panels. At the bottom of the left-hand light, for instance, stand St Peter and St John the Evangelist. Not mentioned by Bridget Cherry and Nikolaus Pevsner among the "notable" windows in the church (342), it is still intricately detailed, and has an air of solemn expectancy about it.
