"A fine statuette of a female nude on moulded base integrally cast, inscribed 'Albert Toft 1906' octagonal verde antico pedestal, 14 ins. high (18 ins. overall).
"In the original bronze, which is presumably much larger, the girl rests her right hand on a sword and holds a long staff surmounted” by a figure in her left. This is illustrated in Spielmann, p. 122." — Blessed Damozel
