A newsboy tries to sell papers to both the man and woman who have exited the divorce court — “Here ye are, Sir!” and “Here ye are, Madam!” — thereby emphazing that they are now legally separate individuals, for the husband no longer “covers” the wife and they are therefore no longer legally a single person. — George P.
