The British Tradesman. —No. 5. The Butcher’s Little Joke

After not sending bills to a customer who wishes to settle his account, this butcher presents him with one that charges him for, among other items, “two oxen on Christmas-day” a decade earlier, ten sheep on good Friday three years later, and “three tons of sirloin” on another occasion.
