The cartoonist portrays Disraeli wearing the Crown with which he endowed him once he became Lord Beaconsfield. Relaxing in a hammock, Disraeli smokes a Turkish cigarette, a box of which lies open on a book entitled Lives of Great Men. [Commentary continued below.]
