This is the first of five "Te Deum" windows along the north wall of Bangor Cathedral

In the tracery above the archangels are seraphim, and below are texts reading, "To Thee all Angels cry aloud"; "Holy Holy Holy Lord God of Sabaoth." This window shows the influence of Edward Burne-Jones. See below for a closer view of the figures.

    St Gabriel is distinguished by the lily he holds, in reference to the annunciation; St Michael holds his sword for slaying the dragon, and his scales for judging souls on Judgement Day, and St Raphael carries a pilgrim's staff in his role as a pilgrim's guide.
