The Entombment, with a closer view of the main figures, at St Andrew's church, East Heslerton, N. Yorkshire. The church, designed by G. E. Street, was built in 1873-77, and the stained glass throughout is by Clayton and Bell. Notice the crescent moon and stars, showing the beauty of creation as well as evoking the night-time atmosphere of the scene of mourning.
