. The stained glass throughout the church is mainly by Clayton & Bell. The glass in the three-part east window (re-used Norman round-headed windows), was designed by Pearson, who restored and largely rebuilt the the church; the west window beyond the font shows St Edith, abbess of Wilton near Winchester, between King Athelstan and St John of Beverley. It was installed in memory of Sir Tatton Sykes I, who died in 1863.
