The Rider Family. Hampstead Cemetery, London. As the topmost bronze plaque makes clear, Alice Lousia and William Robert Rider has this monument created after the death of their nineteen-year-old son, Walter Arthur Rider, in 1901. The father was interred here after his death in 1916, when he was 35, and the mother after her death in 1960 — 59 years after the death of the son. [Click on the image to enlarge it.]
