Simpson, whose initials appear on the hind-quarter of the animal. of the boy is as perfect as if photographed from the life; note The drawing of the animal is very true, and that the leg slightly turned in at the knee to keep the pail in a complete picture. a portion of it drawn with a lead-pencil, and sloping position towards the cow” (129-30).
