aylor Tomko (she/her) is a PhD candidate in the Department of English and Writing Studies at the University of Western Ontario, specializing in the fin-de-siècle Gothic. Her dissertation will focus on hypnosis in late Victorian psychical research. Her other interests include nineteenth-century adventure narratives, occult texts and ghost stories, posthumanism, cultural studies, and the Disney theme parks. In 2022, she worked as an editorial assistant at the Victorian Web.
