aylor Tomko (she/her) is a PhD Candidate and Lecturer in English and Writing Studies at Western University in Ontario, Canada. Her SSHRC-funded dissertation focuses on the exchanges between the Society for Psychical Research (SPR) and literature in the late nineteenth century. Her other interests include gender and sexuality studies, nineteenth-century adventure narratives, the history of science, occult texts and ghost stories, posthumanism, cultural studies, and the Disney theme parks.
