Sabrina Laurent was born in 1981 in Paris, France. She holds a bachelor's degree (licence) in art history from the Université François Rabelais, in Tours, and has always had a keen interest in late nineteenth-century art, especially painting. In 2009 she had the opportunity to work for a brief period as an adminsitrative assistant for the Musée d'Orsay, a fantastic experience behind the scenes of one of the most visited art museums in the world.
Today she works in corporate administration and communications for a large company, and still resides in Paris. Fluent in English, she has been translating material from The Victorian Web into French since 2021.
