igel Finch (he/him) is a PhD candidate in the Department of English and Writing Studies at the University of Western Ontario, specializing in poetry of the Victorian period. His dissertation will focus on the presence of the corpse as a pastoral and ecological figure in the nineteenth-century elegy. His other interests include eco-criticism, gothic fiction, strange/unnatural narration, contemporary theory, and psychoanalytic theory.
