South rose window at St Edward the Confessor, Leek, which was restored by George Edmund Street in 1865-67. This window is in the south chapel, where it was installed as a memorial to Dame Elizabeth Wardle, Sir Thomas Wardle's wife, who died in 1902 (listing text). Six angels bearing texts are surrounded by floral and star designs in predominantly red and blue. According to the Staffordshire County Council site, and a footnote in Pevsner (169) both the north and south rose windows were designed by G. F. Bodley, though this is not mentioned either in the listing text.
