Admiral Sir Compton Edward Domville, GCB, GCVO (10 October 1842 — 19 November 1924) had a record of distinguished service in the Royal Navy in both the Victorian and Edward eras. He commanded the Dido during the first Boer War (1880-81), and on 25 January 1902 was promoted to Admiral, and shortly afterward became Commander-in-Chief of the Mediterranean Fleet.
