In "The Prize Turkey" (p. 106) Eytinge realises the initial incident dramatizing Scrooge's epiphany, it that it marks his abrupt transformation from the parsimonious curmudgeon who formerly begrudged his clerk sufficient coal to keep warm at the office to the open-handed altruist who wants improve the lot of his clerk's family. Since Scrooge is reaching into his pocket to pay the poulterer and the street boy who delivered Scrooge's order is standing in the background, we may surmise that the moment realised is this:

"Why, it's impossible to carry that to Camden Town," said Scrooge. You must have a cab."

The chuckle with which he said this, and the chuckle with which he paid for the turkey, and the chuckle with which he paid for the cab, and the chuckle with which he recompensed the boy, were only to be exceeded by the chuckle with which he sat down breathless in his chair again, and chuckled till he cried.
