Commentary

The light green cloth binding's cover is embossed with golden figures of Mr. Pickwick (above), Seth Pecksniff (bottom, extreme left), Uriah Heep (bottom left), and Captain Cuttle; the spine reads in block capitals "Martin Chuzzlewit/Dickens/Chapman & Hall."
