“Studio Talk.” accompanies this photograph of Fisher's electric light sconce, which boasts an Aesthetic Movement peacock, with the following praise of the artist: “Mr. Fisher is the greatest master of silver-craft now creating among us. His amazing fertility of invention overflows from one object to another, conceiving and executing a never-ending variety of shapes, embellishing some and simplifying others at the dictation of an inexhaustible fancy. As an enameller his reputation would be difficult to increase. The reproductions here given from his recent exhibition at the Dowdeswell Galleries show the qualities that have made his reputation both as a silverworker and an enameller. ”
