The Master Bedroom with its four-poster bed, designed in 1900, now in the reconstructed Mackintosh House at the Hunterian Art Gallery, Glasgow. Mackintosh’s refigures the traditional four-poster in a construction made up of clean lines, painted white but with Art Nouveau ornaments. Note the bed's colour-scheme of white-on-white, combined with the pink detailing of the roses.
