Figurine modelled as a man with a beard and hat by the Martin Brothers. 1903. Unglazed stoneware, 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) high. Malcolm Haslam's Book refers to a figurine made in the form of Guy Fawkes. This piece came through the family of Robert Martin’s wife. There is a glazed over hole to the back of the figurine from the time of manufacture; I would speculate that this is from a tool used in the lifting of the piece from the kiln. — gallery note.
