The catalogue describes the this chair as one of a pair “cast-iron chairs, the tall backs pierced with flower motifs and with a roundel of winged kneeling putto, inscribed Brogas, the lower half pierced with abstract foliage, the wooden seats raised on rectangular legs with similarly pierced spandrels and joined by a circular stretcher; with registration mark for 1870 and numbered 239430, c. 1870.”
