Lady Altar

John Ninian Comper

1911

All Saints, Margaret Street

London

According to the beautfully illustrated pamphlet available in the church, “the reredos is of Caen stone and alabaster, and shows the Virgin and Child surrounded by angels and saints. The arch was restored in 2002 to reinstate Butterfield's design which had been overpainted in the late 1950s” (14).
