St Alban's Anglican Church was designed by the English architect Arthur Blomfield, and the pulpit, font and reredos were presented to the church” by the Doulton Company of Lambeth. Some sources credit George Tinworth simply with "panels in the pulpit and reredos" (Bedford and Rose), but the church's own website includes the font. The front panel here is very obviously” by Tinworth (compare it to his relief of the Good Samaritan for the St John Ambulance Brigade). The other three such panels on this octagonal font show the discovery of the baby Moses in the bulrushes, Samuel being presented to Eli, and the Nativity (see St Alban's Church, Copenhagen.
