Monument for Thomas Blackwood (d. 1847). Brookwood Cemetery, Cemetery Pales, Brookwood, Woking, Surrey, Greater London. The inscription describes him as a “native of Sweden” who was an “engineer,” and fittingly the headstone's bas relief depicts Blackwood sitting amid examples of the latest steam-based technology.
