The dialogue below the title makes clear that this cartoon, unlike most that involve High or Low Church Anglicans, just has fun with the hotel worker's presentation of alternatives:
Lady. “Let me have Dinner at Four this Afternoon.”
Page. “Yes'm. Would you like it Hot or Cold?”
Lady. “Hot. I would like a Chicken.”
Page. “Yes'm. Would you like it Roast or Biled! [sic]”
Lady. “Boiled. Is there a Church near here?”
Page. “Yes'm. Would you like it High or Low?”
