Sarah Sullivan is a specialist in building conservation and an active member of the Arts & Crafts Movement in Surrey. She has a particular interest in the architect Charles Harrison Townsend, and continues to research his work with the website www.charlesharrisontownsend.org.uk. Sarah lives within the "Golden Triangle" (between Guildford, Farnham and Haslemere) where there is a major concentration of work by prominent Arts and Crafts architects.
The Arts and Crafts Movement in Surrey exists to celebrate and foster interest in all forms of art. architecture and design of "the Arts and Crafts era" — the period from 1870 to 1930. Established in 1996 it is concerned with the conservation and awareness of all works associated with this period.
