Deanna McCombs loves travel, art, literature, history, mythology, photography, and good food. She is a retired mechanical engineer who spends a lot of her time planning her next trip. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, she volunteers as a docent with the Birmingham Museum of Art when she is home.
She especially loves visiting Europe and hunting for out of the way sacred places, stained glass windows, and green men. Finally getting around to taking a class or two in photography in 2019, she attempts to use the manual controls on her Nikon digital camera to capture what she finds during her travels. When she is not at the museum or on the road, you will most likely find her curled up in front of the fireplace with a good book.
