The Station at Lichtenfels . One changes here for a local on the way to Bayreuth from Berlin. The same track has trains scheduled at 3:00 and 3:02, a tribute to hoped-for Germany efficiency, but alas the 3 o'clock train was late, and I would have missed my train to Bayreuth if I hadn't run, dragging my suitcase, to the front of the train where the conductors were chatting with the engineer.
