Anti-Tank Gun, one of a Pair of Dioramas (1)

rocket emplacement

The crew, gun, and tracked vehicle come from a Monogram and Tamiya kits, I believe. I made the walls and rocks from hydrocal and the vegetation from Woodland Scenics foam I constructed solid walnut base from wood I had milled to hold a piece of 5/8 inch plywood base and accomodate a 1/4-thick plastic cover.

Some time in the 1980s this and the companion diorama entered the collection of the Forbes Museum of Military Miniatures in Morocco. I have since heard that the museum has closed, and I have no idea what happened to these examples of my work [GPL].
