On the HO version of the AP&G my first scratchbuilt structure was constructed following Frank L. Hendren's "Crossing Shanty with Atmosphere" from the classical Kalmbach Buildings and Bridges for Model Railroads (1965). I sold the tiny building, which was always one of my favorites, when I dismantled the AP&G, and so it seemed fitting to use scrap wood from my BTS oyster cannery to construct one in O scale. The details are from Rusty Rail, the shingles from Rusty Stump.
