A scene in Pawtuxet yards

Albion yards in on a bright day in the 1880s. Sometime in the 1880s, the company photographer captured this scene in the railroad yards in Albion. The two worktrain cars (a flatcar and hopper) were scratchbuilt, and the old-time boxcar was kitbashed. The Cutler & Savidge Lumber Co. wooden boxcar is a Central Valley kit. In the background one sees the General, which has just filled its sand dome at the yellow and red sandhouse. A lower right we see an engineer crossing the yard, lunchbox in hand. (Yes, I overuse this Preiser figure in my photographs, but I think it always adds a great deal of realism to my scenes) [GPL].
