Entrance gates and chapel, Harrow Cemetery, Pinner Road, Harrow, Middlesex. Founded by Harrow Burial Board in 1887, designed by Frederick Cowell (the original source for this is not given), and consecrated in 1888. [Click on this image and those below to enlarge them.]

Two views of the chapel. The low chapel in red brick, with its steep roof, is the only building here now. Unfortunately the entrance lodge, which was in "Norman Shaw style" (qtd. in "Harrow Cemetery"), was demolished in 1985.

Views of the cemetery

The rather nicely designed wooden entrance gates lead to a "straight axial drive with lawns on either side" (again, see "Harrow Cemetery").
