Why then is this People of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual Back- sliding? They hold fast Deceit, they refuse to return.
I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: No man repented of his wickedness, saying. What have I done?

Easing thir flight; so stears the prudent Crane
Her annual Voiage, born on Windes; the Aire
Floats, as they pass, fann'd with unnumber'd plumes."
