In memory of Henry William Deane, a student of this college who died of fever, contracted in the faithful and fearless discharge of his clinical duties at the hospital, 10th June 1862, aged 20 years. Erected by subscription among his friends and fellow Students. 'Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee.'"
