Connecting 28 Old Bond Street to 12 Albermarle Street W1, London

Jones and Woodward descrine this as "London's most elegant surviving High Victorian arcade" and explain it was originally built to connect fashionable Brown's Hotel to Bond Street. "It was originally called simply 'the Arcade'. . . but was ennobled in 1882. . . when Queen Victoria bought her riding skirts and wool" at an establishment there (238).
