This shed at the rear of an old dairy near Perthville, just south of Bathurst, shows what inevitably happens for the sake of some simple cross bracing. The upright ‘slab’ timbers can be seen pulling out from their top and bottom plates. Since this drawing was done the shed has finally fallen over.
