The life-size sculpture shows the princess, who was very close to her cousin Queen Victoria, in a lacy off-the-shoulder dress gathered and tied at the front with a ribbon. The Duchess died at Claremont in Esher, Surrey, and was originally buried in nearby Weybridge.
