Jones and Woodward, who judge Swan House to be the “finest Queen Anne Revival domestic buildng in London,” find the unusual variation and arrangement of windows — a first floor with “three caged and fully glazed oriel windows” above which the second floor “projects with three high oriel windows, alternating with flat, narrow Queen Anne windows,” producing an effect which is “remarkably original, light and graceful” (323).
