This panel aims to shed light on the intricate relationship between healing, storytelling, and illness (broadly conceived) during this pivotal period. In light of the IN-CSA's interdisciplinary, international, and intertemporal theme, papers exploring the legacies-either across time, disciplines, or cultures-of the dynamic between nineteenth-century narrative, illness, and healing are particularly welcome.
