ernard Rosenthal is Professor Emeritus at Binghamton University, New York State, where he specialized in American culture, literature and history. An internationally known scholar, he has written numerous books and articles, and given many talks including at Cornell University, The Modern Language Association, The Melville Society and various others in America. Overseas, he has given talks in London, Edinburgh and Finland, where he was a Fulbright Scholar. He has also spoken at conferences in (amongst others) Bamberg in Germany and Tallinn in Estonia. He is best known for his work on the Salem Witch Trials.
