Two sisters, beautiful as twin sunbeams,
Disported mid my childhood's realm of flowers,
The blythe associates of my earliest dreams,
The winsome sharers of my sunset hours.
They sleep serenely 'neath the churchyard stone,
And I am left alone, all, all alone!
