The Good Samaritan

R. J. Newbery

St. Augustine, Penrith, Wales

Stained glass

The window was in memory of Edward Shearman Vachell, who died in April 1891, aged only 36 (according to the burial register for St John the Baptist, Cardiff). The Vachells were evidently a prominent local family. [Click on image to enlarge it, and mouse over the text for links.]
