Forest green sand-grain cloth over beveled boards, with 9 blue paper onlays on each front & rear covers with vermilion over-stamped and stamped ruled borders and strapwork forming quatrefoils with floral ornamental infill, and central pointed oval with ornaments and titling 'A Round of Days' 'Illustrated / Dalziel's Fine-Art Gift Book'; spine with gilt-stamped ruled shaped ornamental compartments, and titling 'A Round of Days Illustrated' 'Routledge'; signed in gilt-stamp on front and rear covers, below titling, 'JL'.
