Susanna and the Elders

Susanna and the Elders, Basilica de Notre Dame de Fourvière, Lyon, France. Sculptor: Jean Larrivée. 1971-20. Note that the bas relief devides into three sections, each depicting a stage of the narrative: in the first, the evil elders surprise Sausanna at her bath, in the second those surrounding her affirm her chastity, and in the third (at right) the evil men receive their punishment.
